Katie Northrop has more than 20 years’ experience in all aspects of household goods and international shipping management. As head of JK’s government services and contracts team, Northrop designs custom relocation packages for government agencies, manages military shipments, and oversees company contracts and pricing.
Northrop launched JK’s claims department and government and move management services. She created and implemented processes and systems for scheduling surveys, supplier management, auditing, and training new employees on individual contracts, as well as managing global relocations and deliveries. Her experience as a claims manager and a logistics manager for contracts and supplier agreements provided the knowledge to grow our team to its highest potential. Northrop uses this background to develop the best customer care team for JK, focused on continuously improving service delivery, communications, and efficiencies.
Prior to joining JK, Northrop worked for Interstate Van Lines. She completed AMSA’s Leadership Program and Advanced Claims Analyst Program, as well as FAIM training for Quality Certification. In short, when it comes to moving individuals and families around the world with extraordinary precision, and providing tremendous quality control and customer service, Northrop is the expert.
