JK Core Values

At JK, our core values are the foundation of everything we do. They guide every interaction and relationship, both within our team and with our clients. Each year, we take a moment to honor employees who truly exemplify these values, going above and beyond in their roles.

Through peer nominations, employees had the opportunity to recognize colleagues who embody one or more of our core values. This year’s winners have demonstrated outstanding dedication and commitment, and we are proud to celebrate their achievements.

Amy Polen-Horn, Global Pricing Coordinator

Amy consistently demonstrates the ability to show that it’s her job for the many items that she is tasked to do daily. She can be counted on to work extra hours needed to meet KPIs and deadlines. She is a great team player with her team as well as on the inside sales team and customer care. She is a pleasure to work with.

Scott Mahoney, Senior Sales Coordinator

Scott is highly dedicated to his role as Customer Care Coordinator. He consistently stays on top of outstanding issues related to jobs and customers. His exceptional care extends to all customers, including myself. I truly appreciate his meticulous attention to detail.

Dianne Woodward, International Relocation Coordinator

Dianne is a great coordinator and handles all of her customers with care and professionalism, even in the most difficult situations. Dianne is also always happy to help with any customers that reach out after hours since she works from CA, and that is very appreciated!

Aldor Barrios, International Pricing Specialist

If there is a synonym to the word MOXIE it would be Aldor! Every email, phone call, or text is a joy to receive. Always very helpful, and I can’t imagine pricing without HIM.

Emily Zaluzney, Onboarding & Training Manager

Emily Zaluzney consistently demonstrates moxie at JK. Her determination and spirit are truly inspiring and serve as a powerful example to everyone around her. An excellent example of this is how she always leaves a favorable impression on every new employee she leads through orientation. Whenever I ask a new employee how orientation was, the first response is indubitably an Emily compliment. I can honestly say that I have never heard anyone indicate even the slightest criticism of Emily. This is more than her pleasant and welcoming personality. Moreso, it’s the respect she garners by building rapport with her coworkers through honesty and a commitment to the team. While on any given day Emily can be seen exhibiting any of the Company’s core values, her positive, infectious attitude toward the company and her JK family perfectly epitomizes Moxie!

Giang Phan, Technical Support Spec

Giang has surely come out of the gate swinging as a pivotal new asset to the team. He has a certain tenacity and spirit that cannot be taught. Giang maintains a consistent mentality that says, “What can this team do for me?” But “What can I do for this team?” Doesn’t sit around twiddling thumbs, but speaks up saying, “I saw this problem and fixed it.” This allows the team to move forward and to continue solving problems in a timely manner. With Giang, together, we succeed.

Jennifer Barnes, Senior International Relocation Coordinator

Jennifer is an example of Together We Succeed as she is always there for us, trying to step in whenever we need her, and she always has advice to give and helps us with issues we may have in our daily tasks. This means she also has other qualities as well she is caring — with the customers and her team as well — and she does incredible work of always being on top of her tasks to be there for the rest of the team as well.

Nancy Vargas, Customer Care Coordinator

Nancy has been a huge part of assisting the JKTS Team. She always comes ready and prepared with questions. Is always looking for a deeper understanding of our terminology as well. Nancy has been there late nights and early mornings, and she never backs down from a challenge. I can see the growth Nancy has shown to the team and her willingness to get us across the finish line.

Shannon Gomez, Recruiter

In the past, the long-distance driver fleet was the Achilles heel for JK Moving. Shannon took over the recruitment for all long-distance drivers three years ago. The fleet was extremely depleted, and the lack of drivers was negatively impacting JK´s bottom line. Shannon came into the role with instant street credibility as a former JK Driver of the Year. She immediately started leveraging her network internally and externally and infused JK with quality drivers, building a robust driver roster. She built a synergistic relationship with our LD Dispatchers and became a trusted advisor to the Operations team. Her focus on the core value of ¨Together We Succeed¨ was evident in the fact that not only was Shannon bringing in quality drivers, but we as an organization were retaining the drivers. Fast forward to today, we don´t have any available trucks for new drivers, but now have a qualified and waiting list of qualified drivers ready to join the JK Team as company drivers. She is now laser-focused working with Operations in finding the best Owner Operators in the business. Shannon embodies the core value of ¨Together We Succeed¨, and her impact has been positively felt across the enterprise.

Mike Murphy, Director, Client Experience

I am nominating Mike Murphy because he has exemplified our core values. Mike not only embodies all our core values but also consistently shows his dedication to the organization’s growth. This was particularly evident during the our university student move-in project in late August. Mike spotted an opportunity to broaden our work scope with the client and executed a last-minute plan to fulfill the customer’s needs while also increasing our revenue. I would like to personally thank Mike for his leadership and his commitment to both the organization and our focus on growth.

Lizeth Marrufo, Digital Marketing Specialist

Liz does an amazing job of connecting the dots on all the projects she works on. She works with digital marketing, sales, project management, HR, IT, social, residential, commercial, and CapRelo, to ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of every project she works on, no matter which departments within the organization are participating. Her guidance and planning on developing and launching the new Marketing Operations System was essential to its success. Thank you, Liz, for always connecting the dots to take our projects through to completion smoothly!

Enis Lika, International Relocation Coordinator

Enis handles all of the quoting and revisions for the SSP program and is always working hard to make sure that the quotes are correct, revisions are correct, and the agent invoices are correct to ensure our bottom line is met. Enis is a very important part of the SSP program and our profits, and he is greatly appreciated!

Since joining this company, LeMar has gone above and beyond in making sure I fit in and helping me get situated with working at JK Moving. Instead of acting like my boss, he has been here more as a mentor, and it has proven to be very helpful.

Mark Ujczo, Director of Technology Services

Mark came on board back in May of this year and in the little bit of time, he has been very caring, understanding, and respectful to all teams. Mark has always been a curious person as to how JKTS operates and how he can assist with taking us forward in the vision for JKTS. In his short time, he has led the team and set the tone for us on how we can better support him, and we as a team have been able to communicate how we can be supported. With Mark and his experiences, I can say that I am happy to have him on board with the team.

Zuly Cainicela, Director, Global Accounts

I would like to nominate Zuly Cainicela, for the responses to my emails and how to improve my writing. Also setting up training in winter, training that is needed, and to have them at a time when I can focus, summer is not the time, and it’s great for all, that we can set this up.
