Driving growth: JK expands leadership team

JK Moving Services is reinforcing its commitment to growth by bringing in top talent to lead its business units. This strategic investment in leadership is aimed at expanding market share and ensuring continued excellence in service delivery.

New leadership in Commercial Services

Mike ColemanMike Coleman has joined JK as Executive Vice President of Commercial Services, a newly created role. Coleman will oversee all aspects of growth, profit, and performance within the commercial division. His prior experience includes leadership roles at PODS and Union Pacific Railroad, where he excelled in corporate strategy and operational transformation.

“We welcome Mike to the JK family. His industry experience, strategic skills, and success in leading operational transformation are important as we build to drive growth in existing and new sectors,” said JK President David Cox.

Strengthening sales and business development

Eric Ball has been named Vice President of Sales and Business Development for JK Commercial Services. In this role, Bell will lead the strategy, staffing, and execution of the sales and client relations functions. Previously, Bell served as Senior Vice President and General Manager at AVI-SPL.

“Eric Ball also is joining our team and brings a wealth of experience to directing outside sales and business development initiatives,” Cox commented.

Promotions in Residential Services

JK also announced the promotion of Davy Shanko to Vice President, Operations, and General Manager of Residential Services. Shanko, who joined JK in 2021 from Suddath Relocation Services and Graebel Van Lines, will now lead a team of business development and warehouse operations experts.

Additionally, Yama Abbasi has been brought on as Manager of Outside Sales and Business Development for Residential Services. Abbasi’s background includes business development positions at DMV Living and Redfin.
