Meet Queenette Richardson, a dedicated and driven member of JK Moving’s Accounting team. Over the past six years, she has brought her expertise to both the Residential and Commercial teams, applying her skills as a degreed accountant to support the company’s financial operations.
A career rooted in growth
Queenette’s professional journey didn’t begin in accounting – her background is in the medical field, where she earned degrees in Medical Assistance and Community Health. She spent 15 years managing a home healthcare agency, a business founded by her mother. However, when the pandemic reshaped industries, Queenette transitioned into accounting, where she continues to master her craft and excel.

Queenette was drawn to JK’s history and foundation in hard work and dedication. Coming from a family of successful Nigerian immigrants, she resonated with Chuck Kuhn’s journey in building a thriving business from humble beginnings. That entrepreneurial spirit is something she deeply understands, having witnessed it firsthand through her mother’s success.
Words of wisdom
Her advice to those starting out in their careers? “Invest in yourself. You are the key to the locked door every company is looking for. Live by principles, because life is unpredictable.”
Queenette Richardson beyond the numbers
Outside of work, Queenette enjoys traveling and cruising with her husband, whom she describes as “the most wonderful man created just for me.” They share a unique bond – born on the same day! She’s a proud mother of three and grandmother to an overachieving one-year-old grandson. An avid reader, she’s also a member of the Diversified Readers Empowered book club.
Proudest achievements
Queenette has earned three degrees and is currently working on her fourth – though she promises this will be the last! She’s also purchased an investment property and is focused on achieving financial peace with plans to buy another in the next five years.
What inspires Queenette?
Music is Queenette’s therapy. Songs like “Goodness of God” by CeCe Winans and “I Don’t Mind Waiting” by Juanita Bynum have helped her through life’s challenges, reinforcing her mindset of gratitude and positivity.
