On Saturday, March 5, JK Moving Services will host a public auction for storage units that have gone unclaimed, with on-site parking available. Registration and previews begin at 8:30 a.m. The auction starts promptly at 9:00 a.m. All attendees must register at the door before the auction begins. If you would like to bid on any items, you will receive your bidder’s card during registration. You may pay with cash or major credit cards. Items are often acquired for a fraction of the original price, so you could end up with a real steal!
Who can come?
The auction is open to the public — all who are interested in bidding (or simply watching) can come!
Where is the storage auction? Where can I park?
The auction will be held at the JK headquarters, in the warehouse building behind our main JK Moving building, with parking available on site. JK crew members will be on-site to direct parking and guide attendees to the registration area. Once you are registered and have your bidder’s card, you can view the lots.

When is the auction?
Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. at Bay Door 3A on Saturday, October 23. The auction starts promptly at 9:00 a.m. All attendees must register at the door before the auction begins. Coffee and donuts will be available for attendees.
What items will be available?
More than 70 storage vaults and 23 overflows will be available for auction. Many of the vaults, which are 5 ft. x 7 ft. x 7 ft., contain household items that JK professionally packed and stored, such as furniture, electronics, and office equipment. Like our previous auctions, whole pallets will be auctioned off rather than individual items within the pallets. Overflow items will be auctioned separately, items such as sofas, rugs, tables, chairs, office chairs, exercise equipment, file cabinets, coffee tables, arm chairs, bedroom furniture, baby furniture, and more.
How can I pay?
JK will accept major credit cards and cash — no checks. If you cannot transport your newly acquired items, you can make storage and shipping arrangements with a JK representative on-site at an additional cost.
How do I receive my items?
At the end of the auction, after paying, the bidders can bring their vehicles up to the warehouse bay doors to load the items. All items must be picked up by 4:00 p.m on Saturday, March 5. Bidders can also arrange for items to be stored by JK until a later date. All storage blankets or any of JK Moving’s equipment is not included in the bid and each piece must be unwrapped before loading into vehicles.
